Combat in After Reset is expected to be real time rule based, similar to games such as Baldur's Gate or Neverwinter, allowing players to fight in real time while still using mechanics similar to traditional RPGs. It is planned for the player to have the option to pause combat in order to strategize or more easily execute complex or coordinated maneuvers.
